The Knipex 13 42 165 cable stripping pliers are ideal for quickly and easily stripping round sheathed cables and moisture-resistant cables with a maximum diameter of 13 mm. The circular cutting edge with depth stop facilitates damage-free stripping. They are primarily used for wiring commonly installed NYM cables (NYM stands for "standard cable / PVC insulation of the conductors / sheathed cable"). The slim head and optimally angled cutting edge make access easier, especially in recessed junction boxes. The integrated side cutters are used for cutting conductors, wires, small screws, and nails. The stripping pliers are forged from vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened in several stages. For basic rust protection, the pliers are black atramentized (phosphated). Thanks to their multi-component grips, the handles are particularly slip-resistant and comfortable.
