The lens is perfect for shooting in low-light conditions—such as at night—and despite its wide field of view, the maximum aperture of just f/1.4 delivers pronounced bokeh. The closest focusing distance is just 15 centimeters. Added to this are fast autofocus, a weather- and dust-resistant construction, and cold-resistance down to -10°C.
